QUANTUMFC Base and Activator are 100% solids systems and may be used above or below the waterline. When cured, this system features excellent sanding and finish characteristics and accepts the full line up of Quantum Epoxy Primers. The white base and dark blue activator, when mixed together at the convenient 1:1 volumetric mix ratio, yield a smooth, creamy paste which can be easily applied up to 1” thick without sagging or shrinking during the curing process. Activators available in conventional and cold cure to cover a variety of application conditions. This product is an integral part of EMC’s QUANTUM High Solids Repairable Marine Finish System. NOTE: This product is intended to be used as supplied. Do not thicken or thin this product as altering the formulation may lower physical properties. Will there be hands on demonstration?

Absolutely. We will have a boat in the shop to work on. We typically focus on the hull sides. All the Starke products, pads and machines will be on display and available for use.

Will there be classroom work?

Yes. We like to sit down and go over some over the basics. We will have a presentation and slideshow. We start by introducing everyone. We like to ask why each person came and what they wanted to gain from this experience. Once we figure that out we can then dial in the message to focus on where everyone needs the most information.

Is this an accreditation course?
