Buff and Shine Grip Back Polishing Wool Pad 7.5" X 1.5" is a 7.5" × 1.5" grip-back polishing wool pad (wool-blend single ply, yellow) for refining gelcoat and paint on rotary machines after the cut.
Yellow polishing wool is the refine step after cutting wool—lower suggested RPM and a softer blend face to clear compound haze before foam finishing or protection.

How to use
- Mount to a clean rotary grip backing plate sized for ~7.5" pads
- Prime with polish; work in the 1200–1750 RPM range
- Wash when loaded; inspect haze and finish with foam if needed before sealant
Note: Polishing wool—not a heavy cutting pad; use 7503G (or similar) for compounding first.

Will there be hands on demonstration?
Absolutely. We will have a boat in the shop to work on. We typically focus on the hull sides. All the Starke products, pads and machines will be on display and available for use.
Will there be classroom work?
Yes. We like to sit down and go over some over the basics. We will have a presentation and slideshow. We start by introducing everyone. We like to ask why each person came and what they wanted to gain from this experience. Once we figure that out we can then dial in the message to focus on where everyone needs the most information.
Is this an accreditation course?
